Ingredients

Native Collagen

is a protein which constitutes about 30% of the total human protein mass and as much as 70% of skin proteins. Together with elastin, collagen creates an elastic mesh in the dermis to make skin firm and supple and provides support for fibroblasts. Furthermore, collagen has an excellent water-binding capacity, thus contributing to correct skin moisture levels. Native Collagen stimulates revitalisation processes, deeply regenerates, moisturizes and firms the skin.

Shea butter

this component, from the very heart of Africa, contains fatty substances, i.e. saturated and unsaturated fatty acids and waxes, pro-vitamin A, vitamins E and F, natural allantoin and filters providing protection against UVB radiation, which has a negative effect on the skin condition. Substances in the butter protect and strengthen the intercellular cement of the stratum corneum, improving the elasticity of skin. Additionally, Shea perfectly nourishes the skin. It creates a delicate film on its surface to provide protection against sun, frost and wind, which dry the skin and accelerate its ageing. By counteracting these harmful conditions, it supports maintenance of proper moisturization of the skin and prevents premature ageing, leaving it smooth and soft. Shea butter also penetrates the deepest layers of the epidermis, nourishing them intensively. It also brings relief to the skin.

Squalene

a form of squalene which is a natural component of the skin’s protective lipid barrier. This compound is also a part of the intercellular cement of the epidermis. Squalene is an emollient with strong moisturizing and regenerating properties. By becoming incorporated into the epidermal intercellular structure, it seals the epidermis and restores its impaired barrier functions, considerably improving the skin moisturization. By caring for the skin, squalane also perfectly nourishes it, thus improving the appearance and biochemical parameters of the skin and smoothing small wrinkles. Additionally, by reconstructing the lipid barrier, it immunizes the skin against harmful environmental factors and brings it considerable relief. Squalane is also an antioxidant. It protects lipid structures against oxidation and the activity of free radicals.

Sweet almond oil

cold pressed from the seeds of the almond tree. This oil has a noble amber colour and pleasant aromatic scent. This oil mainly contains linoleic and oleic acids. Furthermore, it is rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, D and E, proteins and mineral salts. This valuable oil is ideal for all skin types care, especially recommended for sensitive, dry and very dry skin due to its moisturizing, softening and smoothing properties. Due to its excellent protective properties, it considerably improves skin moisturization, relieves skin irritation, elasticizes without causing skin sensitisation and allergic reactions. Additionally, it visibly counteracts skin aging.

Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt)

is an unusual biopolymer having an identical chemical structure to that found in bacteria and humans. Chemically speaking, it is built of disaccharide units formed by the amid of D-glucuronic acid and D-N-acetylglucosamine. Naturally occurring hyaluronic acid has a molecular weight of 102 to 104 kDa. Hyaluronic acid molecules are a physiological component of our tissues. In the human skin, the acid is a component of the intracellular matrix of the dermis, where it is responsible for maintaining proper hydration, and hence for keeping it supple and smooth. Unfortunately, over the years hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed and its content in the skin steadily decreases. The diminishing content of this component in the subcutaneous tissue reduces the skin’s water reservoir, which is accompanied by the emergence of wrinkles. The skin becomes rough and dry. Hyaluronic acid is able to bind up water up to four thousand times of its own mass, and is therefore used in cosmetic products as one of the most valuable moisturizing agents. Hyaluronic acid is also used as a natural film protecting the stratum corneum against penetration by toxins and bacteria.

is an active agent using an innovative mechanism consisting in the stimulation of the receptor NHE1, restoring a natural pH gradient from the inside of the skin into its outer layers, which in turn leads to the restoration of the skin barrier functions and reduction of reactivity and hypersensitivity against environmental factors.

Moisturizing Factor

jest kompleksem substancji rekonstruujących naturalny czynnik nawilżający skóry. W jego skład wchodzą:

Allantoin

has regenerating effects and accelerates the regeneration of damaged epidermis. It shows strong soothing and softening properties. It decreases burning sensation and redness of sensitive skin. It has moisturising, smoothing and softening effects. It makes the skin look healthy.

Application method

Apply some lotion on the skin and gently massage it into skin with circular motions until it is completely absorbed – preferably in the morning and in the evening. For best results use Natural Collagen Inventia® Body before applying body lotion.
